What’s new in Office 365 in July: new ap
www.office.com/setup The month of July is about to come to a close, and Microsoft is once again wrapping up the month with a look at what has happened with Office 365 in July of 2017. New this month to Office 365 was a series of new apps, new updates, and the announcement of Microsoft 365.
www.office.com/setup Blogs: To begin the month, the Redmond giant announced Microsoft 365, a new solution that brings together Office 365 and Windows 10 Enterprise and Mobility + Security. The announcement was made by Satya Nadella during Inspire 2017 and it was also paired with the introduction of three new apps for Office 365 Business
Premium: Microsoft Connections, Microsoft Listings, and Microsoft Invoicing.
Towards the middle of the month came series of updates for Office 365 which was aimed at helping consumers create professional-looking presentations and identify and correct errors while editing documents. These updates introduced some enhancements to PowerPoint Designer, and the ability to add 3D objects in Word Excel, and PowerPoint. Also bundled in was the moving of the Read Aloud tool to the Review tab in Microsoft Word, allowing your document to be read back to you with simultaneous highlighting.
At the end of the month came some enhancements for Office 365 commercial customers. Several updates to Outlook and Staffhub made headlines towards to end of the month. For one, Outlook was updated and received a smarter TO: line and a redesigned conversation view. Lastly, Microsoft steadily updated the StaffHub app, adding in several options which make it easier for team members to assign, manage and complete tasks from co-workers and management.
